Polaris makes a very strong snowmobile - the prefered ride in the eastern arctic last year.
Their engineering base is about 30 years old - the snowmobiles started with Fuji Heavy Industry motors - and I suspect Fuji may have had a hand in the development of the Victory power plant as well.
I see them occassionally when travelling but unhappily I have never had time for a cuppa java with anyone riding one
